Emirates Dubai 7s' highly anticipated annual gala dinner event, the Long Lunch is back for its 20th year on Friday September 6th 2024, and tables are now on sale! 

Heading back to the JW Marriott Marquis hotel on Dubai's Sheikh Zayed Road, Emirates Dubai 7s will be once again taking over the grand ball room for an afternoon of great entertainment, fundraising, socialising and networking. 

Guests will be treated to a premium 3-course lunch, alongside fabulous entertainment and opportunities to donate to Dubai 7s For Good's CSR program. 

Each year, we invite special guest speakers to the lunch to entertain guests with stories about their careers and anecdotes about the different characters and experiences they have encountered across their professional careers, both on and off the rugby pitch. This year's special guest speakers will be announced soon!

In 2023, former Springboks Captain John Smit and All Blacks legend Scott Robertson hosted the lunch:

John Smit – “‘I had heard so many great stories emanating from the world renown long lunches so to finally be involved in one was fantastic. The money raised for the Dubai 7s For Good CSR program was incredible to see.”

Scott Robertson – “How good is footy and the opportunity that it gives us. The Emirates Dubai 7s is an iconic event and a must do, alongside the long lunch, I was very fortunate to be in the room and got to meet some good people and share some awesome rugby stories”
